Who is the most famous or infamous person you have ever met?
In Nov. 2014, I met Marc Emery, a.k.a. “The Prince of Pot”, at the Amsterdam Cannabis Cup. He was fresh out of the American prison system, after serving 5 years on a bogus extradition from Canada for selling cannabis seeds into the United States. Now, cannabis seeds are classified as industrial Hemp in the U.S. making it perfectly legal to sell seeds online in the states. Courageous pioneers like Marc Emery have paved the way for cannabis legalization and drug policy reforms in both the United States and Canada.
As for the 2014 High Times Cannabis Cup, the whole event was disrupted by a ludicrous threat by the Mayor of Amsterdam, to shut down the Cannabis Cup event if anyone smoked cannabis inside the convention center. So, all of us Cannabis Cup judges could still purchase grams from any coffeeshop in Amsterdam, but we could only smoke it…in that coffeeshop. LOL
